Spirit At Work

Human Spirit at Work
Personal, Interpersonal and Organizational Effectiveness

This cutting-edge project will take the growing conversation of spirit at work directly into corporations through innovative multi-media training materials. Co-produced by Griggs Productions and Spirit in Business Institute, Human Spirit at Work will include 3 20-minute videos on the personal, interpersonal and organizational aspects of human spirit at work, 3 workbooks to support the videos, DVD for group or individual training, and Intranet e-learning for company-wide application.

These materials offer a way to meet these extraordinary times not through mere compliance, but rather through a principled and single-minded focus on supporting employees in bringing their whole selves to the workplace, thus increasing productivity and thereby strengthening the business.

These training materials are being developed with Lewis Griggs, co-founder of Griggs Productions, an acclaimed video production company that has successfully delivered award-winning multi-media products on diversity, relationship and cross-cultural issues to hundreds of top-level organizations over the last 20 years. Kim is co-director of Spirit at Work (SAW), San Francisco Bay Area chapter. SAW is a chapter of the International Association of Spirit at Work, a non-profit association providing community, information, and education for those who are interested in integrating their spirituality in the workplace. The chapter is composed of entrepreneurs, consultants, business leaders, authors, artists and educators who share a common vision. We see a workplace that respects human values and endeavors to incorporate values such as equity, openness, honesty, sustainability and integrity into every decision made. Our belief is that a business can influence a community; which can influence a region; which can influence a country; which will change the world. www.sawsf.org.

Kim speaks, writes, consults, trains and teaches about nurturing spirit at work. She co-authored an article called “Tapping Our Spiritual Intelligence” with Dr. Judi Neal, founder of the Association for Spirit at Work (see media page to read the article).
